Extra departures during Arendalsuka 2026

Arendalsuka is the largest political gathering in Norway held annually since 2012. Agder kollektivtrafikk run several additional departures during Arendalsuka (Arendal week). 

Extra departures included in our travel planner

During Arendalsuka from Monday 10 August to and including Friday 14 August there will be approximatly 1000 extra departures on the local buses in Agder. Use the travel planner at akt.no or the AKT Reise app to get a complete overview on the bus services in Agder. Travel between Kjevik (airport) and Arendal

Local bus service as airport bus service 

  • Between Kjevik and Arendal/Grimstad/Lillesand, the airport bus service consists of the regular bus service on the local bus line 35/36 between Kjevik and Kristiansand, combined with the local bus line 100 (100D/100E) between Kristiansand - Lillesand/Grimstad/Arendal

On these buslines you can travel on the ordinary ticket-scheme from Agder kollektivtrafikk.

Line 35 Kristiansand - Kjevik - Tveit 

  • Bus line 35 Tveit - Kjevik - Kristiansand is the local bus service between the city of Kristiansand and Kjevik airport. As any local route, line 35 follows a schedueled route/time plan, and will not customize its departure times due to delayed flight arrival. 

Line 36 Birkeland - (Kjevik) - Kristiansand

  • Bus line 36 Birkeland - Kristiansand will include a stop at Kjevik on some departures.These departures are in addition to the departures on line 35 Tveit - Kjevik airport - Kristiansand.

Line 100 Arendal/Grimstad/Lillesand - Kristiansand

  • Use bus line 100 (to/from Arendal/Grimstad/Lillesand) combined with local bus line 35/36 Kristiansand - Kjevik

Recommended places to shift between line 35/36 and line 100

Recommended bus stops to shift on travels between line 100 Arendal/Grimstad/Lillesand and line 35/36 Kjevik/Tveit (both directions) is:

  • Vige (blue symbol in map), 
  • Vollevannet (yellow symbol in map), 
  • Universitetet (red symbol in map) or 
  • Kristiansand busterminal

To find the right price, you must find out how many zones you are going to travel. First find the number of zones before you check against the price tables for single tickets.

Note! You must have a valid ticket before boarding, or at latest buy a ticket from the driver when you board the bus.

  • Traveling between Kjevik and Kristiansand city centre, 1 zone.
  • Traveling between Kjevik or Kristiansand and Lillesand, 2 zones
  • Traveling between Kjevik or Kristiansand and Grimstad, 3 zones
  • Traveling between Kjevik or Kristiansand and Arendal, 4 zones
