Note: Until 31 January 2025, a spouse or partner (registered in accordance with the Partnership Act) travelling with a person with a senior ticket could also travel on a senior ticket. The fares on public transport in Agder follow national guidelines for social discounts. In 2025, the Ministry of Transport and Communications decided to discontinue the so-called spouse discount, which gives a senior discount to a spouse or partner travelling with a person with a senior ticket.

From 1 February 2026, the spouse discount will therefore be discontinued.

This means that everyone travelling with a senior discount must now meet the conditions themselves (be over 67 years of age or have valid proof from NAV).
