Route changes in Kristiansand-area 6 October 2025

On 6 October 2025, there will be route changes on several routes in the Kristiansand area, especially on the east side of Kristiansand and in Søgne.

Route changes

The route changes from October 6 will have the greatest impact on travelers on the east side of Kristiansand and in Søgne. In the other areas of the Kristiansand area, there are only minor changes.

Route changes on the east side of Kristiansand

On Søm, line M3 will have a new driving pattern and will run like the current line A3 via Sømsveien and Torsvikleiva between Varoddbrua and Søm. This means faster travel options between Søm and Kvadraturen. On Drangsvann, a new line 54 will be created to/from the University via Rona. Line 55 will be created as a local bus between Dvergsnesåsen and Sørlandssenteret (via Salbustadveien and Liane Ringvei).

Route changes in Søgne

A new terminal will open on Tangvall on 6 October 2025, which will be important for you as a traveler. See information about where the buses run at the new terminal.

Line 40 will no longer run via Høllen brygge, but the service will be strengthened on Årosveien with departures every half hour (also on Sundays). Line 48 will be extended to Høllen in correspondence with a boat and adapted to local travel to and from Tangvall. New departures on line 43 Langenes – Tangvall – Vedderheia and Line 44 Langenes – Tangvall – Norddalsheia provide new travel options within Søgne. At Langenes, this means departures every fifteen minutes during rush hour and better connections at Tangvall.
