Paying your public transport journey with AKT Billett ticket-app gives you a discount on single tickets for children, adults and seniors – throughout Agder. The fare is determined by the number of zones that make up your journey (max. 6 zones for single tickets, 3 zones for period tickets).

Note that it is not allowed to copy or transfer tickets in any way other than through the functionality supported by the AKT Billett ticket app at any time. This means that screenshots or photo/video of someone else's ticket is not allowed. 

 AKT Billett – travel by bus with your mobile phone throughout Agder  

  • AKT Billett ticket-app makes it easy for you to buy periode tickets, single tickets and Flexiticket in advance for all bus/boat services throughout Agder that are operated on assignment for AKT.
  • Not valid for commercial express buses.
  • The fare is determined by the number of zones that make up your journey (period tickets max 3 zones, single tickets max. 6 zones). 1 zone = 1 municipality.
  • Payment with the AKT Billett ticket app gives you a discount on single tickets for children, adults and seniors compared to buying the ticket on board from the driver.
  • Persons serving compulsory military or civilian national service pay a child’s fare for single tickets.
  • You can pay for your journey in the following ways in the AKT Billett-app: 
    • Visa/MasterCard
    • Vipps
    • Apple Pay
  • The AKT Billett app can be used to pay for other people’s tickets.

How to use the app:

  1. Download the AKT Billett-app (for iPhone or Android).
  2. Choose the right ticket and follow the steps for payment in the app.
  3. A countdown will start and the mobile ticket will show the status «Confirmed – Boarding permitted».

In Kristiansand/Vennesla it is allowed to board the bus via the back-door and just find a seat. Outside Kristiansand/Vennesla you will have to board the bus via the front-door and show the control-page with a QR-code to the bus driver.
