Traveling between campus Kristiansand and city centre

You can use numerous buses between University campus Kristiansand and city centre. Bus stop located near campus Kristiansand is named Universitetet (Kristiansand). 

All departures in real time

In Agder, the web version of the travel planner give you up-to-date real time information for all bus stops, also in English. This gives you a full overview of ecactly when the bus will depart from your bus stop.  The travel planner can also be downloaded - for free- as an app for iPhone or Android. Note! App is only avaliable in Norwegian.

You can plan your trip in the English version of the travel planner on our websites (switch to English language by clicking the flag symbol). In the travel planner you can search for departures from a specific stop or do a general search from/to different stops/addresses. You can also do more advanced searches, where you can specify transfer times, means of transport, etc. This can be found under the Advanced button.

Traveling between Kjevik airport and city centre

Between Kristiansand and Kjevik the airport bus service consists of the regular bus service on line 35/36 between Kjevik and Kristiansand.  See general information on how to travel to/form Kjevik airport

Line 35 Kristiansand - Kjevik - Tveit: 

• Bus line 35 Tveit - Kjevik - Kristiansand is the local bus service between the city of Kristiansand and Kjevik airport. As any local route, line 35 follows a schedueled route/time plan, and will not customize its departure times due to delayed flight arrival. 

Line 36 Birkeland - (Kjevik) - Kristiansand:

• Bus line 36 Birkeland - Kristiansand will include a stop at Kjevik on evening departures towards Kristiansand after 18:00. These departures are in addition to the departures on line 35 Tveit - Kjevik airport - Kristiansand.

Line 100 Arendal/Grimstad/Lillesand - Kristiansand:

• Use bus line 100 (to/from Arendal/Grimstad/Lillesand) combined with local bus line 35/36 Kristiansand - Kjevik

Tickets and prices

With the AKT Billett-app (ticket app), it is easy to buy periode tickets or single tickets in advance for all bus/boat services throughout Agder that are operated on assignment for AKT. Payment with AKT Billett-app gives you a discount on single tickets for children, adults and seniors – throughout Agder. The fare is determined by the number of zones that make up your journey (max. 6 zones for single tickets, 3 zones for periode tickets).

To find the right price, you must find out how many zones you are going to travel. First find the number of zones  before you check against the price tables for single tickets.

• Traveling between Kjevik/Kristiansand and Lillesand, 2 zones
• Traveling between Kjevik/Kristiansand and Grimstad, 3 zones
• Traveling between Kjevik/Kristiansand and Arendal, 4 zones
