From 1 February 2019: New bus fares – for the whole of Agder

With effect from 1 February 2019, prices for period tickets and single tickets will be adjusted. The changes apply to ordinary routes operated on behalf of AKT. From 1 February, the lower and upper age limits for children are adjusted to apply between 6 years and 17 years. The price adjustment generally focuses on the fact that it is still more profitable to pay the ticket in advance. Period tickets and single tickets can be purchased in AKT Ticket app or on a travel card.

Zone map for Agder

A new zone system has been introduced for the whole of Agder: 1 zone = 1 municipality. I.e. a total of 30 zones in Agder. A new fare calculation system has also been introduced where you pay for maximum 6 zones with a single ticket and maximum 3 zones with an adult period ticket.

Check the number of zones in the zone map against the fare table for single tickets and period tickets.

  • Each text box on the map represents one zone/municipality. (1 zone = 1 municipality.)
  • Follow the lines on the map, and remember to count both departure and arrival zones.
  • NOTE! You only pay for the alternative with the lowest number of zones you cross along the lines in the map (most reasonable alternative).

*Also valid for Moi (Lund municipality in Rogaland) and Haukeli (Vinje municipality in Telemark).

Adult period tickets, Kristiansand area: Kristiansand, Søgne, Songdalen and Vennesla (including Øvrebø), are considered one zone.
Flexicard: Valid for the whole Kristiansand area.

NOTE! For single-ticket journeys, 1 zone = 1 municipality. The one-zone system for journeys within the Kristiansand area does not thus apply to single tickets.
